JSON string syntax highlighting breaks if string contains "this"

Describe the bug
In JSON files, if a string contains the word "this", the syntax highlighting breaks. Turning off this extension fixes the problem.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open a minecraft bedrock json file (or any json file?)
  2. Add the word "this" into any string
  3. Watch as the syntax highlighting breaks

Expected behavior
It should not break the syntax highlighting

Huh??? I'm assuming this means VS Code version because I'm not using the online version and I don't know how the browser I'm using to open this issue would be relevant

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Browser: VS Code standalone/electron version
  • Version: 1.79.2
