One can add … as a synonym of ... and ‥‥ as a synonym of ..... Not sure if it's worth the trouble.

Closing for now, at least until ghc-proposals/ghc-proposals#477 / https://gitlab.haskell.org/ghc/ghc/-/merge_requests/8697 is merged.
If GHC supports … as a synonym to .. (two dots, usual [1..] syntax) then infinite-list would not be able to re-use it to mean ... (three dots, (1...) syntax for infinite lists).
