Details

I tried to build a new 'prefab:item_mineshaft_entrance' after my original one did not build a mineshaft (I reported "[Bug]: prefab:item_mineshaft_entrance does not make a mineshaft #279").

I tried to build it behind the original one so I used 'preview' to make sure I placed it properly. I was facing West to set the preview, I then went to the right hand side to check the rear & I turned left to face the building (so I was now facing South) - once I had the preview lined up correctly I clicked "Alt-B" to place the building but the building spun around, with the 'yellow square' (that marks the initial placement) as it's pivot.

I gave myself more 'prefab:item_mineshaft_entrance' & found that the "Alt-B" shortcut would build in any direction I faced, using the 'tellow square' as it's pivot.

Some notes:

  • I only tested 'prefab:item_mineshaft_entrance';
  • I did not test it with my character in the way of the expected 'new' position (ie. I moved into a position where I would not be blocking the 'twisted/turned' building).

(Please note that I re-placed the door to be 'inwards' so it may look odd as it is slightly further away from the 'yellow square')
