Discover how to bring immersive 3D experiences to the web with Three.js and GLSL Shaders. Using my interactive portfolio as a case study, we will explore the creation of a "tiny planet" inhabited by an animated robot that walks across a dynamically generated world.
We will dive into the technical tricks and optimizations behind this experience, including advanced performance hacks like GPGPU for real-time terrain tracking, where the robot adjusts its height over hills, mountains, and even underwater.
I will demonstrate the use of custom shaders for dynamic world generation and explain key benefits of GLSL. I will also show creative solutions to handle orbiting animations, focusing on high frame rates and seamless animation.
