Local Folder missing in Setting & they are ignored when AAR runs

Opened this issue · 3 comments

On https://brummolix.github.io/AutoarchiveReloaded/, the screenshot shows that Local Folders "("Lokale Ordner" in the img) should be included in the settings page.

On AAR 1.0.0.1 on TB 68.2.1 (64-Bit) on macOS 10.14.6 (18G1012) there is no such tab.
My other (POP mail) accounts show up fine.

Local folders are apparently excluded from AAR runs, and in the log the local folders are missing when collecting the folders to archive -- there is no such line for local folders:
9.11.2019, 11:48:15 - AutoarchiveReloaded - INFO: getting folders to archive in account '<local folders>' background.js:69:17

And consequently:
6.11.2019, 00:08:42 - AutoarchiveReloaded - INFO: ignore account 'Lokale Ordner' background.js:69:17

Maybe this is related to the missing settings for Copies & Folders for Local Folders; all there is to set is (in German locale):

You are right they are ignored right now.
I will add it in the next version.
This was lost when migrating to TB68.

But be aware that Thunderbird does not offer archive settings (like organizing the archive in year folders) for locale folders. But I think in the extended Thunderbird config you can set a global defaul with 'mail.identity.default.archive_granularity' / 'mail.identity.default.archive_keep_folder_structure'. But I have not tested them in TB68).

Thanks!
