new Chrome versions render the extension unusable

somewhere around Chrome version 115, the recording and speaking stopped working for me
I have tested with Chrome versions 115, 114, 113 and 112 and only with 112, I have the full functionality
EDIT: Now the problem is gone, I have tested with latest Chrome 115 and the extensions versions from Chrome Store and from Github, both are working as they should. There must have been anothe issue with my Computer.
