HTML in client apps

Neither app supports HTML formatting.
The iOS app is particularly bad and fails at opening basic hypertext links (the result is a safari web view overtaking the content view within the app, while framed by the native app navigation...).
The Android app fails to render basic formatted punctuation, like quotation marks and apostrophes.
