Writing a comment introduces a delay freeze of the app?

I try to name every recording i make but it takes a few seconds after clicking the comment to be able to write then after writing it after pressing enter it takes a few seconds to take effect?

The only reasons I could think of would be that the files are stored somewhere where writing processes take a long time (e.g. a slow network drive)?

Absolutely not ,its a problem of the app , it seems like devs have a tendency to refuse that there is any issue or bug from their side "because in their system it works fine"

Well, the way of adding and editing the comments of record files hasn't changed in over 3 years and this is the first time anyone mentioned such an issue, of course the first approach is to look at the system it happens on.

And since you provided no info about your hardware, system or the CX version you're using, or wich older version, if any, worked normally, I can only guess what the problem could be at this point.

Is it limited to the comments or also to CPU, GPU and RAM info?
Does it only happen when directly editing the colums of the record list or also when editing through the selected record info at the bottom?
Does it happen on any other text boxes throughout the app?

  1. well the average user has no where to complain really you dont have much of an online presence to receive feedback (even the naming is confusing ) so I wrote this cause i am insistent enough most people with an issue will just give up just live with it or uninstall

  2. i am writing cause i am experiencing this in 2 different builds , i upgraded my whole system and from my POV its definitely the app

  3. i am using whatever version is latest and available on GitHub

  4. when discussing issues like this i will never reveal my system again cause it leads to other paths which lead nowhere , if system is old Dev says oh you on old system its not supported , if its new , Dev says its not supported yet , so it gives you a way out

usually i figure out a weird way by myself and it doesnt get documented anywhere and the dev never gets the chance to find the problem cause they are usually egotistical and unhelpful
and lack the social skills (and intelligence) necessary to use the USER to help him make the app better

anyways this is PTSD from past experiences maybe its different you seem more receptive

  1. if you were closer to your users where they can give you feedback you would know about this , but the app has no social media presence and nobody sends emails anymore , i have given up on emails i dont send them anymore now cause i have been conditioned lately to contact social media
