I have an issue with images working locally but not in netlify builds

Hey, great blog site however i get that my images even the default images are not being display when using netlify.

Is this something you have encountered?

I basically get 404 on all of the images

nvm i had a previous blog that had a gitignore on the /public folder. was easy to understand by going to the deploy on netlify and download the full site and seeing that assets was not part of the build
