Inconsistent navigation UI button on Profile screen

Error:
The Profile screen contains a button (plus sign inside blue circle) which returns to the Home page when pressed. No other page has this button and navigation can be accomplished using either the Navigation bar or the page forward/backward buttons within the browser.
Symptoms:
Return to Home page button (plus sign inside blue circle) on Profile screen returns to Home page when pressed.
Steps to Recreate:
Navigate to Profile screen using Navigation menu (righthand hamburger) and then press on the white plus sign ('+') that is inside a dark blue circle.
Resolution:
Removed button.
