[Need Help] Manage unknown or incorrect items ID

First of all, I do thank you for this add-on that is really great.
I configured the add-on using Manual list of items because i was having unavailable items.
but since today, I have two issues actually :

  • I added new items in my manual list that are not showing up as sensors. I don’t understand why. I restarted many times et tryed to reinstall the add-on. Nothing seems to work.
  • even if I use manual list, some items are not available. I don’t understand why neither.

In the logs, I only see this
Setup of platform tgtg is taking longer than 60 seconds. Startup will proceed without waiting any longer.

  • Could you send me one of the item ID you are trying to access? As it can be used to locate your area, please send me that as a PM
  • Did you update to the latest version of the integration?

Thank you for your answer. I think I found the « problem ». Actually, one of my items was not available anymore and that did stop the process. Is it possible to catch an exception in this case to avoid the integration to stop ?

The item was coming from my manual list

I'll look on how to implement it, but my time is quite limited those days so I cannot give you a commitment

@oxamafia I've looked into it, but I'm not sure how to support that without having a too broad try/catch loop.
So I'll leave this open and update the Readme; and if anybody can fix it I'm more than willing to receive help!

I don't fully understand the rewrite from mricharz yet, but we are moving away from manual items, only favorites.
