Host is down

I get an error trying to install iStats.

On High Sierra:

ERROR:  While executing gem ... (Errno::EHOSTDOWN)
    Host is down - send(2)

On Sierra:

ERROR:  Could not find a valid gem 'iStats' (>= 0), here is why:
          Unable to download data from https://rubygems.org/ - SSL_connect returned=1 errno=0 state=SSLv2/v3 read server hello A: tlsv1 alert protocol version (https://rubygems.org/latest_specs.4.8.gz)

That looks like an error with rubygems.org (your computer can't connect via SSL to the registry). Have you tried again since and are you able to download/install other gems?
