Battery health not working on macOS Catalina

After I upgraded to macOS Catalina, the Battery health indicator is no longer working and displays "unknown":

I'm using iStats 1.6.1 on macOS Catalina 10.15.0.

I've been trying to fix this issue for the past couple of days and can't find a solution. If anyone with C/Ruby/macOS programming knowledge wants to help please reply here and I'll provide some steps on how to run and debug the code.
