windowing/cropping off now/soon

This is a duplicate of an email I sent, which I did cause that was what the support link for Microsoft Store version took me to (and that was the ~build in question, not sure if they're identical or not)
But I am duplicating here in case you'd prefer to reply/discuss in public
After latest(?) Windows update on Beta Insiders channel, to "Edition Windows 11 Pro / Version 23H2 / OS build 22631.2262 / Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22674.1000.0",
the ~window/crop on latest TaskbarXI from Microsoft Store (which is same or newer than github?) cuts off (does not display):
- the start button and first other 1 to 3 icons on left, and
- several icons on the right
... possibly symmetrically to number of open programs (at TaskbarXI start time?)
As I write this I am seeing middle 5 items of 11 displayed; If e.g. I right click the TaskbarXI tray icon to bring up the exit prompt, it grows to 6 items (of then I gather 12) shifting to left in a ~FILO fashion
this appears to happen irrespective of e.g. system scaling size and toggling on various TaskbarXI settings (I'm generally at defaults; sticky draws a different size but is cutting off several items on left and leaving a big gap to right)
Obvs this makes the program defacto unusable for me :( And/but I am sad to see the whole bar instead after being used to your nicer crop
So a fix would be appreciated
But I understand its probs not super high priority for a 99¢ and/or open source app
(and I am a reasonably competent software engineer, and/but not one with much experience with Windows APIs, and its been a long while since I did any C++)
sooo if you have any suggestions/asks on debugging (if its not reproing on your version), I'll take that too
(If you have any guesses for what changed that jump to mind, but not time to pursue them)
Thanks,
~Donald
I believe this is probably a dupe of #180 but I did not change any settings, so I believe that user is potentially misattributing cause
I am guessing #179 may be dupe as well, given timing; but its hard to tell with vague phrasing and video not loading (for me)
EDIT: oops, I put the wrong number before
of potential interest, in the process of taking above screen recording, the hinting offered by ShareX on the ("window" bounds?) of taskbar is also wrong/offset, but only to the right (EDIT 2: to be clear though, I manually dragged a window over all items rather than using it):
(photo of screen cause its kinda hard to screenshot your screenshotting utility)
EDIT: I am not sure if this is newly/recently the case; I don't recall seeing it before, but I also don't recall attempting to screenshot taskbar before
