Monitor news sources for events

Some people need to look at websites to populate our events pages in an ongoing way.

I was already collecting a list of Newspapers and Magazines:

These might include some information about events/fundraisers that could be relevant:
Can we get people to volunteer to monitor one or two of the news sites and feed us relevant links? We can keep a list of the assigned roles here. If we get lots of volunteers then the roles can overlap.
I got RSS feeds for the sites that were easy:
- ObserverXtra
- Cambridge Times
- Waterloo Region Record
- New Hamburg Independent (which isn't)
- Waterloo Chronicle
- Kitchener Post
- The Community Edition
These lists will not be comprehensive, because where possible I am narrowing articles tagged with "Municipal Election" or "Election"
I could not find good ways to monitor the following, but they are still worth following. Some kind of change RSS might be useful here.

It would be nice if somebody else would volunteer to keep an eye on these two.

Excellent, I started to collect some of these too, but you found more than I did.
I am going to be busy over the next week, but I can start monitoring after August 25, unless someone else has picked up this task before then.
