NodeFileCompose does not recognize missing data/NaNs

In the current implementation of NodeFileCompose, the existence of NaNs will corrupt the composite value, since they are not recognized. Is there a way to exclude the snapshots or perhaps even the grid points containing NaNs as defined by the NetCDF files? Thanks for any suggestions!
