the escape keyword isn't working when keymaps files

[windows7internals]

I'm using keymaps files with wsl ( windows subsystem for linux) in windows
here is my keymap file content

group:          wsl
process:        wsl

shortcuts:
    - name: escape
      keys:
      - Escape

it doesn't show the anything when I press the escape key in my keyboard

with other keys it work just fin but with escape key it doesn't
