Hey @GriffGreen, which network endpoint are you using on Metamask ?

Craig was having the same problem and he was using https://rpc.xdaichain.com/. I tried this endpoint and sometimes I got the tx-failed error.

The 1hive endpoint (https://xdai.1hive.org/) seems to be working perfectly. I recommend using it

Also we can make the error message say "Please check that your transaction went through"

Instead of hardcoding the endpoint in the front end... we grab the endpoint from the user.
