Add info about hardware

  • Cad files and blueprints for the cabinet should be made available
  • Assembly instructions should be with them
  • A list of all parts used would be useful too

Most if not all of these are in the Clickup that was being used earlier in the proejct

CAD and assembly:
Devcade Parts (1).zip
Blueprints (3).pdf

Parts easily listable:

  • Computer: Any spare x64 computer. Scale specs to meet desired game requirements
  • Speakers: Any spare speakers compatible with the chosen computer
  • Controls:
    • Controller board: Brook Zero PI Fighting Board (PI/PS3/PS2/PSX/PC/Switch) x2 -- Note: This could likely be substituted for another board or a custom solution using an Arduino or similar, as long as the input to the computer remains as expected
      • Wiring will also be needed. USB-B for each controller board and wiring to connect inputs. If using the exact equipment specified here you can add the japan wiring bundle with the controllers for the nice harnes and separately get .187" spade connectors to replace the ones on the harness.
    • Buttons: Suzo Happ Concave Long Stem Pushbutton 2x black, 4x purple, 4x yellow, 2x red, 2x blue, 2x white, 2x green -- Note: These also could likely be substituted for equivelents
    • Joysticks: Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT Joystick x2, one with purple ball top and one with yellow. Note: If desired, the GT-Y Octo Gate can be added and it appears that this joystick has been superseded by the SANWA JLX-TP-8YT Joystick but this part could again likely be substituted with an equivalent
  • Monitor: All games and menus are designed for a 1080p ultrawide monitor rotated vertically. I cant find exactly the same model we used but this seems pretty dang close if it isn't the same model: amazon
  • Wood: Refer to the CAD and assembly for construction. 23/32 in. plywood and mdf are suggested materials. specifically, RTD Sheathing and OSB Subflooring was used I believe with a 7/23 board for the rear door (this thin is not advised as it is flimsy).
  • Misc: Large angle brackets and many screws for assembly as well as hinges and a handle or cam lock for the rear door.

Files for joystick covers, control board backplate, expansion slot covers, and coming volume knob specs should be included

I think this is the monitor that Devcade currently uses: Amazon
