This appears to be the relevant page. Doesn't look like it's just a drop-in feature.

May want to consider integrating requirejs to handle dependencies so we aren't pulling the Cast Library + Cast Media Library into everyone's web apps.

Judging by the code, I'm assuming this didn't make it into the 1.3.1 milestone release ..? Any idea when this might get added?

Hi Tom - nope, not in 1.3.1. We are working on 1.3.2 now and it won't be there either. We will consider for 1.4.
