NSIDE check outputs warning even though nsides agree

There is an issue with the if statement in comm_tod_mod that checks whether the nside for the band in the parameter file agrees with that in the hdf file. The output says

Nside= 0 found in parameter file does not match nside= 512 found in data files ,

even though the nside in the parameter file is 512.

That was a problem on my side.
