Tutorials out of date

The parameter file is pre-defaults in this directory - let's update it to something that works with a more recent version.

We also need to have the downloader and the data used in the parameter file be consistent.

I have made some iteration on the tutorials in devel, but they still do not work properly, so this is something people could work on
