"about" item in the navigation is always highlighted

For some reason, no matter which page you are on, the "about" option in the nav is grey (highlighted)

that is because you are logged in - grey is showing you things that are only visible to logged in people. this may not be ideal, but I had to do something to delineate the difference, at least during development. Let me know if you think this is unnecessary.

Oh right. I thought it was being highlighted because it is the current page. Not sure what the best way to communicate that this is only visible to logged in users - perhaps we just have to learn

yeah, i did try using different text highlighting, underlines, that sort of thing, but they either looked cluttered or unclear, or looked like current page selection. however, as there is no page selection signifier, hopefully this may not be an issue. i dont notice it any more, but will have to see how it comes across to other people.

perhaps it would be better to just not show the extra items in the nav. Viewing the sitemap page would still enable a logged in user to check on what is visible to non-logged-in people anyway. obviously the sitemap page itself needs work, it is just the basics for now, but could have functionality to view hidden and non-hidden, and to change settings, and I already listed an enhancement ticket for allowing for re-ordering of nav items via the sitemap.

I just published this page, so the problem has gone away for the moment :)

Showing the extra items is definitely useful, but would be good to turn them on and off for preview purposes.

closing this, solution will require further use.
