Once you are in edit mode, there is no way to move back to view mode without reloading the page

also when collaboratively editing, changes made will be viewable to normal people viewing the page in normal mode. is this desirable? if not, it will be necessary to have an explicit save button requirement for updating the page that people actually see.

Probably an explicit save button is best for consistency of the site from a non-CL user
