Page provenance

It would be good if the provenance of actions on a page can be recorded.

We have the time-slider for the ether-pads, but this does not cover actions which took place on the settings of pages, such as when and who changed settings and other metadata.

I have this functionality already in artemis, could copy over.

but before we do this, what would we actually use it for? what difference would it make to you if you could see who made a particular change to the page settings?
