Date histogram

Hi, we use FacetView on marcus.uib.no and we are looking into moving to FacetView2. We would like to use the date_histogram facet type. It does not seem to show correctly, as we can not choose at begin and end date. It is showing as a ordinary facet with numeric dates (see screenshot). Any hints for getting to work? We use ES 1.7.
