Unfortunately not, not least because this was written when facets were the norm, and these have been fully replaced with aggregations as of ElasticSearch 2.0.

For our earlier response to the aggregation issue, please see #13 (comment). We'll be making sure our replacement to facetview2, called edges, does support the newer versions.
