No linkification with a \r in the text

It seems there is no link highlighting if there is a \r in the text section. Can it be fixed? Thanks in advance !

I'm facing the same issue.
I removed \r from the text. It works fine. This can be a workaround until issue is fixed.

I know that is why I'm opening an issue. The only workaround I can find is to remove those symbols it would be better to fix it
