You may already be aware of this article https://medium.com/@a.b.t./here-are-some-possibly-useful-tweaks-for-steamos-on-the-steam-deck-fcb6b571b577 that sums up a few more config tweaks for the Steam Deck.
While i'm not fond with all of the suggestions (i.e. performance cpu governor) there are some hints that would be nice additions to your steam-deck-utilities (I/O scheduler, watchdogs, mitigations).

Looking forward to read your thoughts about this.

After seeing another user post about how the above tweaks from A.B.T. helped in emulating MGS4 via RPCS3 on the Steam Deck, I decided to give them a try.

And yes, I too can confirm that these tweaks definitely help in improving performance & stability with PS3 games via RPCS3 on SteamOS 3.5!

Therefore, I think it would be good if they could be included as an option into CryoUtilities, so that more users could easily take advantage of it.

Plus it would make enabling & disabling these tweaks easier from within your script.

Thanks!

BTW, here's the post I'm talking about:

I'm already very aware of the article, and have to do some testing around memory locking, but many of the tweaks made aren't beneficial "wholesale". For example, setting the CPU governor to performance is good for some games, but for many it just causes higher battery drain without better performance.

Since CU is focused on set-and-forget, many of the tweaks in that article won't be implemented, but I will be testing each one thoroughly to know exactly which could be.
