How to recover entries from my installation of version 2.1.2?

So sometime within the past month my copy of CuteNews stopped working. I use it for updates to my fanfiction site. I tried doing a clean install/upload, but it still appears blank... I also tried looking for my entries via Archive.org. The last copy of the entries were a few years back. And there's a handful of entries that I'd like to recover but I don't understand how the entries are coded and so on. Is there any way to recover the entries? It's important to me to back up my update entries.
