- Clone the repo
- Create a bot in slack (https://YOURTEAMHERE.com/apps/manage/custom-integrations)
- Get the token
- if you wish to run it local or without an ".env" file skip to step 6
- Create an ".env" in the same folder as index.js
- Add "token=YOURBOTTOKEN" to the file
- run the bot using "node index.js" or if you didn't make an env, "set token=YOURTOKEN & node index.js"
- Add your command to either commands.json or custom.json
- Create the function in index.js
- Edit the README.md to reflect the changes
