There is some issue in the container_autoresize extension, which breaks drag-and-drop event creation in mobile view.
You can replicate this issue on the example page using device toolbar of Chrome browser

If I understand correctly, you are talking about the scenario when the event creates before you end the long tap. This is a known issue and the dev team works on a fix. Unfortunately, there is no ETA, but I will post any updates here.
