Barcode World barcode entry not working.

The entry of a barcode into game 'Barcode World' with the DSiXL does not work, I cannot test on any other DS to try it out.
I can enter a barcode into Dragon Ball Z: Gekitō Tenkaichi Budokai successfully, but the game Barcode World does not move when it gets to the Barcode Entry screen, it might be something to do with how the game stalls the processor, or keeps it from reading other ports until the serial data has arrived from the Barcode Battler.
