Expected Behavior

At the end of a move or a specific battle

Actual Behavior

Moving from island to island and at the end of certain battles, the screen remains dark and does not advance.

Steps to reproduce

I'm trying to get from one island to another, go to the heliport, specify a location, and it freezes before I can get to the next scene.

Other notes

I wrote specific battles.

When the first battle between Todd and Rupert was over and it went dark

the game freezes without advancing to the next scene.

Will you be available for future issues and/or replies?

Yes

Please check if the USA/Europe versions have the same issue.

I'm playing the Japanese version. I'm trying different things, but when I tried to boot up with a patched rom, I got a pyracy warning.
But it wouldn't boot.

Now I applied the patch included in the apfix for twilight menu++.

You do not need to manually AP-patch the ROM, as the bundled AP-fix is already applied automatically.

No luck. Black screen in the same spot.

I have the cheats on by the way, but it freezes with the cheats on, and with everything disabled.

In the cheat menu, press the L button to ensure every cheat is turned off, and then save.
If the issue persists, then delete usrcheat.dat in sd:/_nds/TWiLightMenu/extras/.
If the issue still persists, then the bundled AP-fix is most likely either incomplete or broken.

It didn't work, because there is no patch for the Japanese version of super fossil fighters in the apfix.

It froze at the same spot again.

I'm trying to start it directly without the twilight menu++, but I keep getting an error occurred.

You're supposed to start the game using either TWLMenu++ or a forwarder.
Please wait for a fix for the black screen issue then.

I'm trying to launch a game with cheat built in using the forwarder, but it just won't launch.

I've tried to make sure it works on forwarder as well.

It froze at the same place at the same point.

I found yet another bug besides black screen.

I found out that experience is not being added to the player.

Operation has been confirmed with USA version.

I performed the same operation as the Japanese version

As a result, there was no black screen.
