Symptoms

  • The user signs out.
  • A successful sign out message appears.
  • The UI doesn't change.
  • There's no way to sign out.

Solution

This issue affects users using VS Code 1.80.0. This is a known VS Code issue tracked here.

The solution is to upgrade the VS Code version and use 1.80.1 or greater.
