Parsing video data

Do you know how you can parse the video data. I.e. somebody sent you a video on hangouts and actually be able download or see the video? The "download_url": "https://video-downloads.googleusercontent.com" is worthless as the service is no longer active. Clearly the data is still avalible as if you go to hangouts you can still view it.

I haven't come across it, but are you sure the video is still available and not just cached locally? Checking the network traffic in your browser's dev tools for the web version of Hangouts would help you see where the video is coming from
