Deskbot/No-Playlist-Autoplay-For-YouTube

Version 65535.65535.65535.6 doesn't work

I just auto-updated to the latest version of this extension 65535.65535.65535.6 and now it doesn't work any more: videos always auto-play to the next video in playlists no matter what the extension's settings. This was previously working perfectly in earlier extension versions.

Browser: Firefox 89.0.2 (64-bit) on macOS Mojave 10.14.6

I did test it on the same version of Firefox, but I realise there's a way I might have broke it depending on how fast the page loads or possibly whether there are adverts playing. I'm going to publish a fix in v7. Tell me if that fixes it.

The new v7 works perfectly again, thanks for the quick fix! (I do use an ad blocker—uBlock Origin—as well as Privacy Badger, FWTW.)

Thanks for the bug report :)

I was not notified.
The video doesn't show the extension not working. I'm not sure what you're expecting to happen.

Without the extension: When you're on a playlist and a video ends, YouTube automatically navigates to the next video in the playlist and plays that video.
With the extension: When you're on a playlist and a video ends, you stay on the same page and no video plays.

The extension isn't trying to prevent autoplay when a tab opens.

oh that type of autoplay. alright alright.
thanks man. also kudos to the quick responses. these days not used to it. take care

also thanks for reading my post attentively (unlike me your description 😅) and answering my question.
