Tutorial page 3, not seeing a different prompt while in a nix dev env

This might be because I used the official installer rather than the Determinate Systems one.

$ nix --version
nix (Nix) 2.20.1

My prompt looks the same as always. It doesn't say anything about nix.

I was 3 layers deep in development environments before it occurred to me to read further and try type curl.
