App Chooser should load all apps at once

When I use the App Chooser and scroll down the list, it only goes until "D...". I then have to release the mouse, scroll up and down, wait and then scroll again (this time till "F"). It takes 6 iterations for me until I can reach the last App. I find this a bit cumbersome.

Would be great if Workspaces could load all the Apps at once
(you can even do it in a thread as soon as Preferences pane opens and cache the list for the session).
