Public feedback:

What about the reddit topic, where /u/stonetear (Paul Combetta) asked to change from/to? http://archive.is/povEv

This refers to a post by Clinton sys admin who asked how to remove "from" and "to" email addresses from the records before turning them over. The way it was reported made it seem like a user asked on an online forum how to "hide information", thus obstructing justice / tampering with evidence. In reality the sys admin was attempting to remove e-mail addresses in the e-mail so that addresses of high value individuals are not exposed.

There's quite a bit of discussion of this on techy forums.

Another user also suggests expanding on the timing of the above issue:

What was Paul Combetta's role in this? The timing of his reddit post seems really damning considering the establishment of the committee on Benghazi.

He made this post, clarifying intent: "[–]stonetear[S] 1 point 2 years ago
As a PST file or exported MSG files, this could be done though, yes?
The issue is that these emails involve the private email address of someone you'd recognize, and we're trying to replace it with a placeholder address as to not expose it."

I'm not sure we want to go here. This story is WAY under the radar, especially in light of trump's scandal de jour and the Wikileaks drops every 24 hours. The last article from a reputable source that I could find on this is almost a month old: http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2016-09-19/paul-combetta-computer-specialist-who-deleted-hillary-clinton-emails-may-have-asked-reddit-for-tips

The only recent articles are from right-wing nut job sites that I don't think an undecided/3rd party voter would be reading. I'm thinking this is a rock we don't need to overturn.

What does everyone else think?

May want to look at this in light of the latest press.
