Hello! The info.plists bundle version key still shows 0.10 instead of 0.11 … additionally the ShortVersionString key is empty so no version information is displayed in the ui

CFBundleIdentifier:
com.yuki.DevToys

CFBundleShortVersionString:

CFBundleVersion:
0.0.10

@ObuchiYuki I have been suffering from the same problem for a long time.
And it seems that no new version of this repository has been released for a long time.
If you don't intend to maintain it, you should either archive the repository or give someone else the necessary permissions to maintain this repository.
What do you think?

Hi @ObuchiYuki ,
As original author of DevToys (on Windows), I would agree with @watanabemasahiro128 that this repository should be archived if it's not maintained anymore. In addition, in a few months, I will release DevToys 2.0, for Windows, Linux, and Mac. 😊
Happy to credit you into it if you'd like!

Dear @veler

Thank you for reaching out and for your understanding. I apologize for not being able to maintain the DevToys repository as I've been preoccupied with my graduate school exams and job hunting activities. It's been a challenging period, and I regret that I couldn't contribute to the project during this time.

Given my current commitments and the uncertainty of my future availability, I agree that it might be best to either transfer the maintainer's rights to someone else or to archive the repository. I'm open to whichever option you and the community feel is most appropriate for the project's continuity.

Thank you once again for considering crediting me in the upcoming DevToys 2.0. It's an honor, and I'm excited to see its release across multiple platforms.

Dear @ObuchiYuki,

Thank you for your insightful response. We fully understand that academic commitments require a significant portion of your time, and it’s heartening to see you prioritize your studies so highly. 😁

We’re grateful for your understanding of our situation and the impact it has on us. We would be delighted to acknowledge your contributions on the Settings page of our app, as well as on our website (which is due for an update in the coming months). Below is a draft of how your acknowledgment might appear in the app. We welcome your thoughts on this and would appreciate it if you could let us know the name you’d like displayed and the preferred link for the special thanks section.

Moving forward, we’ve established a DevToys organization here: https://github.com/DevToys-app. It would be of great assistance if you could transfer the ownership to this organization. This will facilitate the merger of the two apps into a single repository and enable us to maintain a record of older versions of DevToys 1.0 and DevToysMac (specifically, the release packages).

Please let us know what you think :-)
Thank you again!

Dear @veler

I truly appreciate the special recognition on the app's Settings page and your website. It's an honor to be acknowledged in this way, and I'm thrilled to see the project evolving.

Regarding the transfer to the DevToys organization, I understand the importance of consolidating the apps for better management and version tracking. I'm happy to proceed with transferring the ownership to ensure a smooth transition and continued success of the project.

@veler

I wanted to follow up on the topic of transferring the repository to the DevToys organization. Upon reviewing the necessary steps for the transfer, I've come to realize that I do not currently have the requisite permissions to initiate the transfer process.

I believe the most effective approach to facilitate this transfer would be for me to obtain the necessary permissions to proceed with the repository transfer. Could you kindly assist in granting me the appropriate rights or guide me on how to acquire them? I'm eager to ensure a smooth transition and am ready to take the necessary steps to make this happen.
Please advise on how best to move forward with this process!

Thank you!

Hi @ObuchiYuki ,

Thank you very much! I indeed forgot to give you the necessary rights that would allow you to transfer the ownership to DevToys-app. My bad, I'm sorry. 😅
I just sent you an invitation to join the organization as a member. If I understood the GitHub documentation correctly, it should allow you to transfer the ownership. Can you please accept the invite (you probably received an email about it) and try again?

Also, whenever you're ready, please let me know what name should be displayed in the Settings page. For now, I wrote "ObuchiYuki", but I can change it if you want. Also, please let me know what URL you would like this link to open. It can be your GitHub profile, Twitter, LinkedIn, whatever you'd like. 😁

Thank you @veler !!!

Thank you for the invitation and for the smooth process! I've successfully transferred the ownership to DevToys-app. Also, "ObuchiYuki" is perfect for the name display in the Settings page, no need for changes there. As for the link, I'd be delighted if it could open to my Twitter profile: https://twitter.com/obuchi_yuki. Appreciate all your assistance!

Thank you, a thousand times, @ObuchiYuki! We appreciate a lot your cooperation and help here 😁👏

I opened a pull request that adds your name and link to our Settings page. Feel free to review it: DevToys-app/DevToys#1074

I hope you all the best for a successful completion of your studies. Please ping us if you need anything from us one day 😁
All the best
