Setting Gain / Offset / Gain may reset offset

Keith think's there is a scenario where changing gain, offset, gain, etc will cause the offset to reset to 0. He does not have exact steps to reproduce.
Try to reproduce and determine if there is an issue.

Was unable to reproduce the issue. I'm closing the issue now, but it should be reopened if this crops up again.
