This is a great guide! I'm wondering if you've ever run into any slowness in the terminal, or commands hanging?

I find myself having to press Ctrl+C to exit out of a weird buggy state the terminal ends up in after basically every command.

My issue appears to be the same as this one: hsab/WSL-config#1 (comment) - TLDR, don't put your files under /mnt/ (or frankly, open it ever)

If you need that, Cygwin always worked well for me.
