Duo Manager not installing correctly

Opened this issue · 6 comments

I'm following the setup guide, after downloading, installing and restarting my pc, there's no Duo Manager app on my system anywhere. if i search for "duo", all i get is the installer (Duo.exe) i downloaded from github. I tried installing it twice with the same result. My system is Windows 11 Home 23H2

You may have to rollback some of the installation, to everything working again.

I stumbled into that issue myself, when I first tried to install Duo. Use the previous version and everything works finde. I think @Black-Seraph is currently working on a solution for this problem.

Same, I had to reformat my PC to had this work, unfortunately only SB mode is not working

@MadWizardDE thank you, i installed version 1.4.8 and it works, but i'm now having an issue where in moonlight on client pc, the host doesn't show up. they are in the same local network, i tried entering the ip manually but it just gives an error. also i tried different suggestions from moonlight troubleshooting but nothing works :(

@Cred1Tor
I changed the default port to the same that is standard in Sunshine, which I believe is 47989, and after that it popped up everywhere.

I'm having what may be the same issue. Each time I install, it tells me my system needs to restart for the installed dependencies, and that I should re-run the installer once it does. But when I restart and run the installer again, it just starts over, installing the same dependencies. Duo Manager itself never installs.

I also got hit by this. A big bold warning would be in order because this can seriously screw up someone's computer:
