Disable during Singleplayer & Hosting LAN Play

I crashed during singleplayer, and although I cannot remember the error, it made one thing clear:
THIS SHOULD BE DISABLED DURING SINGLEPLAYER AND LAN HOSTING.
After all, you can't be playing on a server on an older version of Minecraft...
When you're in singleplayer.
