I'm using the Package ‘firebehavioR’ to simulate fire behaviour in a Mediterranean Pinus pinea forest. I need to understand the unit of measure of surface fuel heat content: is it expressed in J/g or BTU/g? I found the value 18622 in the fuelModel "fuelModels['A10', ]" data frame used to simulate an example of fire behaviour in a forest.
