I would love to have a feature where I could enter the URL of a web page, and you would parse the CSS to create a grid directly from the colors on the page. This would save a lot of time evaluating existing web content.

This is an interesting feature, but would be pretty intensive to build, and would probably make sense as a separate tool that "scrapes" a website and extracts colors then passes them to the contrast grid tool.

The contrast grid tool can auto-generate a grid based on URL parameters, so if you had a tool that could extract hex codes it could generate a link to the contrast grid tool.

This isn't something I'd recommend building into contrast-grid.eightshapes.com
