But i wanted to contact you and i couldn't find your email.
We have the EXACT same issue that you had posted on the below link.

We are develoing an android TV app using ExoPlayer and the video with resolution 1920x1080 does not play (No video, only sound comes) on Mi TV Box / Stick since it uses the "OMX.amlogic.avc.decoder.awesome" codec.
But the same video plays perfectly fine on a Fire TV stick which uses the "OMX.MTK.VIDEO.DECODER.AVC" codec.
How did you manage to fix the ExoPlayer CODEC issue on Mi TV?
Please let me know, since we are targeting our app for Mi TV box.
