Credits issues

Thanks for putting so much work into the credits. A few issues throughout that should be addressed:

  • "DRM waived" is not a phrase that means anything to anyone outside of a select few people on OpenGameArt.org, and it's not explained clearly anywhere here. I would suggest either using more precise language denoting the specific clauses of the CC-BY-SA license that are waived, or adopting the OGA-BY 3.0 license. At the very least, say something like "clauses of the CC-BY-SA license prohibiting use of DRM are waived," but even that should be expounded upon somewhere. I would favor explicitly adopting the OGA-BY license, though this would be a change as the current repo has a share-alike requirement (which OGA-BY would obviously eliminate). You can also link to the OGA-BY FAQ https://opengameart.org/content/oga-by-30-faq or include a similar document to explain to end-users why you are bothering with this, because I suspect most people will not be aware of this issue at all.

  • CC-BY 3.0 and CC-BY-SA 3.0 require attribution to include the title of the work, so this should probably be tracked in the various Credits.txt files

  • Your main Credits.txt file does not contain sufficient information to satisfy the requirements of the assets you are sub-licensing. CC-BY{-SA} 3.0 and -4.0 require the URL and CC-BY{-SA} 3.0 requires the title of the asset as well. If we're suggesting something to be copied into the end-user's credits, it should probably be more comprehensive. It doesn't need to include every detail of who did what, but it should include all the relevant URLs and titles. It should also include a link to the license text, which is required by CC-BY-*. What about something like this:

LPC Revised Assets

The "Based on" session could be built up from your other Credits.txt files with a script and de-duplicated, so it need not be manually maintained separately.
