Specs of the OS

Hello world!
Or should I say: hello Atmosphere OS!

Just got here after visiting your page and reading the clarity whitepaper. Well, I loved the whole concept, so I'm here to help!

Should we start by defining the concepts ou even the requirements?

It would be a huge pleasure to help! Count on me!

Time to wip out LFS?
Maybe we should ask @eelfroth

yes hello I was summoned! uhm.. where am I?
oh, there seem to be some really good ideas here (some of which I've actually been daydreaming about already), thanks for bringing me in!
I still haven't done the LFS for myself, my time was taken up by different projects... but I think that a faster and more pleasant way to create linux distributions nowadays is using something like BitBake. it takes care all the low-level headaches for you (in accordance to recipes you give it) so you can focus on creating an awesome userland. another such tool is Buildroot which also looks really promising.

Daniel started a discussion if we should use an already existing architecture like WebOS, Android, etc. but this kills the purpose of aos. I think his idea of having packages/modules distributed via IPFS will be huge. https://spectrum.chat/thread/e3dbeebd-75ee-492a-abf2-cc83c98d85a3

@eelfroth welcome to EC! Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us. Great ideas mean nothing without great minds working on them. I am doing my best to finalise the concept stage but at the end of day it might be just wishful thinking :D
